Description
EVER (Green Energy for Rural Development) is a program designed to transform access to solar energy into a driver of rural economic development. Its approach is based on decentralized solar mini-grids that not only provide electricity but also support productive activities, improve rural incomes, and make energy infrastructure economically viable. The intervention strategy is integrated: strengthening clean energy operators, encouraging entrepreneurs to use productive equipment, and mobilizing the local financial system to finance income-generating uses. The program thus targets the technical, economic, and social sustainability of rural electrification.
