Description

The Agrifood Project in Côte d'Ivoire aims for a structural transformation of the sector. Its objective is to develop competitive, inclusive, and resilient food value chains. The approach adopted is integrated, combining productive investments, infrastructure modernization, improved food safety, and facilitated market access. The project targets all links in the value chains (production, processing, marketing), with a particular focus on creating a network of modern agrifood businesses, especially SMEs.

Objectives

🚀 Project Development Objective (PDO):
To support the expansion of inclusive, resilient, and competitive agri-food value chains in targeted areas by increasing productivity, added value, and market access for stakeholders.

🌾 Building Productive and Resilient Value Chains:
Improving productivity and resilience through the provision of inputs, training, and infrastructure development.

📈 Improving the Business Environment:
Strengthening institutions to create a regulatory framework conducive to agri-food investment.

💼 Mobilizing Private Investment:
Mobilizing private capital throughout the value chains through guarantees and subsidies.
