Description

The Southern Agro-Industrial Transformation Zone Project (PZTA-Sud / Agropole Sud) is a structuring agro-industrialization project in Casamance, designed to create integrated agro-industrial transformation zones around high-potential sectors. Within the framework of the Emerging Senegal Plan (PSE), it aims to increase the local added value of agricultural products, revitalize the business ecosystem, and attract private investment, while sustainably increasing the productivity of value chains (mango, cashew, maize, banana).

Objectives

📈 Agro-industrial Development:
Establish a competitive and attractive agro-industrial ecosystem.

🌾 Increased Agricultural Value Added:
Significantly increase the local processing rate of selected agricultural sectors.

💼 Job Creation:
Generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs, primarily targeting young people and women.

🤝 Investment Stimulation:
Attract and encourage private capital, both nationally and internationally.
