Description

The Project to Support Value Chains and Agricultural and Rural Entrepreneurship (PACVEAR) is an integrated support project aimed at strengthening rural value chains in Guinea-Bissau, primarily in the rice and vegetable sectors, and promoting agricultural and rural entrepreneurship throughout the production, processing, and marketing links. It combines infrastructure interventions, support for productive actors, and the promotion of sustainable job creation in rural areas.

Objectives

🌾 Value chain improvement:
Optimize the production, processing, and marketing of targeted sectors.

🚜 Stimulate rural entrepreneurship:
Support the creation and development of agricultural businesses.

👩‍🌾 Socio-economic strengthening:
Increase rural incomes, particularly for young people and women.

📈 Improved rural infrastructure:
Develop productive infrastructure and market access.
