Project to support the competitiveness of sectors and the diversification of exports (PACOFIDE)

The Project to Support the Competitiveness of Agricultural Sectors and Export Diversification (PACOFIDE) is a structuring development initiative. Its main objective is to strengthen the competitiveness of Benin's agri-food sectors, particularly pineapple, cashew/cashew nuts, and rice, and to diversify agricultural products intended for export. To achieve this, the project employs a combined approach that includes infrastructure development, direct support to producers, capacity building, and the creation of market opportunities, in order to improve access to regional and international markets.
