Description

The CAP2E program is a collaborative development project that aims to improve access to quality technical training and strengthen entrepreneurial skills in the Far North region of Cameroon. It plans to invest in modernizing training center infrastructure, professionalizing trainers, and adapting curricula to market needs. In parallel, it establishes business incubation programs, supports the launch and development of micro-enterprises, and provides guidance toward professional integration through partnerships with the private sector. The project also incorporates regional institutional coordination, rigorous monitoring and evaluation, and environmental and social management.

Objectives

• Capacity Building Modernize and professionalize technical training programs and enhance trainers' skills to meet local market needs. • Entrepreneurship Promotion Support business creation and self-employment through incubation, access to support services, and post-creation guidance. • Integration and Employability Improve beneficiaries' employment rates through tailored pathways (training + internships + job placement) and connections with the private sector. • Inclusive Territorial Development Reduce economic vulnerabilities in the Far North by creating local value chains and promoting the inclusion of women and youth.
