Description

The “Inclusive and Innovative Finance (FIINOV)” program aims to transform Benin’s financial landscape by improving access to appropriate financial and non-financial products and services in a secure environment, thereby reducing poverty and promoting economic empowerment. Its intervention strategy is based on supporting financial education, strengthening regulatory institutions, supporting agricultural insurance, and digitizing value chains, aligned with the national financial inclusion strategy targeting 85% access by 2026.

Objectives

🌍 Poverty Reduction:
Contribute to the eradication of poverty through increased access to financial services tailored to vulnerable populations.

💰 Improved Access to Financial Services:
Enable more Beninese to use affordable and secure products, promoting economic empowerment.

📚 Enhanced Financial Education:
Deploy an ambitious program training agents and beneficiaries for better financial and digital management.

️ Security and Regulation:
Promote customer protection and strengthen oversight institutions within decentralized systems.
