Description

The Youth Empowering Their Future (J2A) program aims to promote the empowering socio-professional integration of young people aged 13 to 29 living in urban poverty, particularly young women, through gender-sensitive guidance, training, and integration. Its intervention strategy is based on a multi-country and multi-stakeholder approach: strengthening the capacities of local partners, actively involving young people to develop life skills and empowerment, and testing best practices to scale up actions.

Objectives

👥 Gender-sensitive guidance and training:
Promote access to appropriate guidance and training for vulnerable youth, prioritizing women.

⚙ Partner capacity building:
Improve the technical and organizational skills of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and local institutions.

💪 Increased participation and life skills:
Develop essential skills for integration and the transition to adulthood through the active involvement of young people.

📈 Identification of good practices:
Experiment with a multi-stakeholder approach to scale up actions supporting young people as active participants.
