Description

The MAMOA Project is a private sector development support initiative aimed at sustainably strengthening women's entrepreneurship in Madagascar. Deployed under Component 2 of the ITOVIA program, it supports MSMEs in their creation, formalization, or development phases, while also strengthening the structures that make up the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Its intervention strategy is based on a systemic approach. Rather than solely financing businesses, the project simultaneously addresses the main obstacles to women's entrepreneurship: insufficient access to finance, limited availability of support services, lack of entrepreneurial skills, social constraints, and difficulties in accessing markets.
