Support for the sustainable and inclusive development of the private sector

The Project to Support Sustainable and Inclusive Private Sector Development aims to sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of Rwanda's private sector by simultaneously improving the regulatory environment and the capacities of businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Its intervention strategy is based on a two-pronged approach. On the one hand, the project supports public policy reforms to create a more favorable business climate for private investment. On the other hand, it directly strengthens the capacities of SMEs through business development services, improved market access, and the promotion of responsible and environmentally friendly business practices.
