Strengthening the production capacities of manufacturing industries and SMEs

The project aims to sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of Rwanda's manufacturing sector by improving the production capacities of local industries and SMEs, with a particular focus on the leather value chain. It supports the local processing of raw materials, the development of higher value-added products, and the integration of businesses into national and international markets. The intervention strategy focuses on removing the technical, institutional, and organizational constraints that limit the growth of manufacturing SMEs. Through a combination of technical assistance, skills development, improved quality standards, and coordination between public and private stakeholders, the program seeks to stimulate industrialization, private investment, and job creation.
