Description

The Youth and Women's Entrepreneurship and SME Development Facilitation Project aims to revitalize the private sector in Guinea-Bissau through the economic empowerment of young people and women, economic diversification, and the creation of decent jobs. Its intervention strategy is based on strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of young people and women, improving access to finance and markets for SMEs, and creating a business environment conducive to local startups and SMEs.

Objectives

📈 Skills Development:
Develop the entrepreneurial skills of young people and women for active participation in the economy.

💼 Support for SMEs:
Increase the development of local small and medium-sized enterprises by providing them with technical support and facilitating their access to business support services.

💰 Access to Finance:
Establish a dedicated financing facility for SMEs to increase access to appropriate financial resources.

🌐 Market Integration:
Promote trade links between SMEs and large companies and develop digital platforms to connect stakeholders.
