Description

The project aims to improve access for young people, women, and refugees to training that meets the actual needs of the labor market, and to enhance their entrepreneurship opportunities. It seeks to forge a lasting link between the vocational training system and the private sector in order to boost the beneficiaries' employability. Its intervention strategy relies on three complementary levers: modernizing vocational training systems, fostering an ecosystem conducive to youth entrepreneurship, and strengthening institutional capacities to make the national skills development system more effective, inclusive, and responsive to business demands.

Objectives

🚀 Boosting youth and women’s entrepreneurship:
Funding entrepreneurial skills development, business plan competitions, and start-up grants.

📘 Improving training relevance:
Aligning technical and vocational curricula with market needs, particularly in collaboration with the private sector.

️ Strengthening apprenticeships and practical skills:
Modernizing informal apprenticeships and recognizing the skills acquired by young people, including girls and refugees.

💻 Developing digital skills:
Building a solid foundation for digital careers through the Digital Transformation Institute and advanced training programs.
