Description

The TERSAA (Transition of Agricultural and Food Systems in Territories) program – phase 2 – is an initiative aimed at strengthening the resilience of local agricultural and food systems in the face of climatic, economic, and structural constraints. It focuses on improving family farming value chains, the agroecological transition, market access, and the coordinated mobilization of local stakeholders.
TERSAA 2 builds on the achievements of phase 1 (2021-2025) to disseminate sustainable practices and improve the food and economic self-sufficiency of rural communities.

Objectives

🌾 Access to new market opportunities:
Supporting producer training to better connect their family farms to local and public markets.

♻️ Dissemination of sustainable practices:
Supporting the acceleration of the agroecological transition and climate resilience through technical support and improved product quality.

🤝 Mobilization of local stakeholders:
Promoting awareness and establishing sustainable partnerships between producers, municipalities, and buyers to support the development of long-term supply chains.

📈 Socio-economic inclusion:
Encouraging the participation of young people and women in value chains to guarantee high-quality local production.
