Description

The Project to Support Investment Promotion and Public-Private Partnership Development (PAPIDPPP) is an institutional support operation designed to strengthen the private sector's contribution to financing and implementing the "Togo 2025" government roadmap. The project aims to create a more attractive environment for domestic and international investors while bolstering mechanisms for developing public-private partnerships. Its intervention strategy relies on three complementary levers: improving the institutional framework for PPPs, building the capacity of investment promotion agencies, and mobilizing increased private resources to finance the country's key strategic projects. In doing so, the project seeks to establish the private sector as a major player in Togo's economic development.

Objectives

💡 Strengthen the attractiveness of Togo:
Improve investment promotion mechanisms to attract more domestic and foreign investors.

🤝 Develop public-private partnerships:
Create a more efficient institutional framework for the preparation and implementation of PPPs.

️ Strengthen institutional capacities:
Train administrations and public structures involved in investment promotion.

📈 Improve the business environment:
Carry out the necessary reforms and remove the constraints weighing on the business environment in Togo to stimulate private investment.
