"Umwuga ni Akazi" (UA) Training and Professional Integration Project in a Greener and Circular Economy

The "Professional Integration – Training and professional integration in a greener and more circular economy in Burundi" project aims to increase decent employment for young people—particularly young women—by strengthening vocational training provision, employability, and entrepreneurship within green and circular sectors. The intervention strategy relies on three complementary levers: building the capacities of young people; supporting entrepreneurs in the creation and growth of their businesses; and fostering an environment conducive to employment through more effective institutions and a better-functioning entrepreneurial ecosystem.
