Description
The program aims to reduce the climate and food insecurity of women in the cassava sector in Gbêkê (Côte d'Ivoire). The approach strengthens their technical, entrepreneurial, and financial capacities to improve their economic resilience to climate change. The strategy combines climate-smart agriculture, women's economic empowerment, and financial inclusion. The program supports the adoption of adapted practices, improves access to productive resources, and develops financial solutions for rural women entrepreneurs. It also seeks to consolidate agricultural organizations and local financial institutions for a sustainable ecosystem, promoting food security and rural women's entrepreneurship.
