Description

The Northeast Agro-Industrial Hub Project (2PAI-NE) aims to transform agriculture in Northeast Côte d'Ivoire by establishing a modern, productive, and market-oriented system. This program is based on an integrated approach combining four pillars: developing agricultural production through climate-smart practices, structuring and optimizing value chains, improving market access to facilitate marketing, and creating an enabling environment to encourage private investment, all of which is structured around an agro-industrial hub model (territorial cluster) that connects production, processing, and marketing in an integrated manner.

Objectives

🌾 Agricultural Modernization:
Implement improved, productive, and climate-resilient production systems to sustainably increase yields and secure agricultural incomes.

💼 Rural Job Creation:
Create inclusive economic opportunities, particularly for youth and women, through the development of agricultural entrepreneurship and agribusiness SMEs.

🏭 Value Chain Industrialization:
Structuring integrated value chains to increase local added value (processing, logistics, marketing).

📈 Private Sector Attractiveness:
Encourage private investment through a favorable environment, adequate infrastructure, and mechanisms for integration into structured markets.
