Description
The multinational CVAD-ZSTA program aims to develop sustainable agricultural value chains around Special Agro-Industrial Transformation Zones in several West African countries. Its approach involves creating integrated agro-industrial hubs capable of connecting agricultural production, processing, logistics, and regional markets. The intervention strategy is based on the creation of competitive territorial ecosystems where producers, agri-food SMEs, private investors, and public institutions interact within a dynamic of local economic transformation. The program places particular emphasis on climate resilience, reducing post-harvest losses, rural industrialization, and the creation of sustainable agricultural jobs.
